About your host:
Iain Gallagher is a leader and creator of strategic Early Careers, Talent, and Leadership programmes. He is passionate about talent development throughout the career journey and about changing perceptions of apprenticeships. Iain has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, spanning branch and contact centres, operations, and wealth management. For the past 20+ years, he has focused on HR and People functions, specialising in building and leading Learning and Development, Early Careers, and Talent Acquisition teams.
Samantha helps build the future of law — making careers more accessible, opportunities more visible, and recruitment more engaging. As Emerging Talent Manager at Shoosmiths, Sam leads the trainee solicitor programme and manages early careers recruitment across 13 UK offices. Her work has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including Best Individual Contribution at HR in Law. Sam is passionate about widening access to law and using digital media to connect, educate, and inspire the next generation of legal talent.
Manisha is passionate about shaping early careers and helping individuals navigate the first steps of their professional journey. With experience across retail, the public sector, and the creative industries, she brings a broad perspective on how organisations can support emerging talent, with a particular interest in making career development visible, accessible, and inclusive to all. As Learning Manager at Harrods, Manisha has seen and supported how the business invests in a culture of growth and opportunity, from offering apprenticeships in Retail, Food, IT, and Buying to wider learning initiatives.
With a passion for creating impactful learning experiences, Ben Gallacher co-founded inrehearsal in 2017 after decades working in performance arts and learning & development at organisations such as McCann, the National Theatre, and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Ben now leads the curation and development of inrehearsal’s video-led learning library, ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of L&D teams worldwide.
