“Neurodiversity may be every bit as crucial for the human race as biodiversity is for life in general. Who can say what form of wiring will be best at any given time.” – Harvey Blume

Join Lisa Kerr, Neurodiversity Coach, Speaker and Consultant for an enlightening hour where we’ll explore Neurodiversity across the employee lifecycle. Through increased awareness and diagnosis, it’s now believed that around 20% of people could be Neurodivergent. But what does this mean in the workplace? What’s the business case for employing Neurodivergent staff? And what do you need to think about at each stage of the employee lifecycle to Attract > Recruit > Onboard > Develop > Retain > Exit ?

In this session we’ll consider how line managers can empower Neurodivergent staff and how staff can embrace working with Neurodivergent managers, unlocking untapped potential, creativity, and success.

What we’ll cover:

  • An overview of Neurodiversity.
  • The business case for Neurodiversity – strengths and business outcomes.
  • An understanding of legal requirements (UK), moral obligations and what’s plain common sense.
  • How to empower Neurodivergence at all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Insight into how to identify Neurodivergence and external support available.

Why is it important for people to learn this skill?

Empowering Neurodiversity across the employee lifecycle ensures we can recruit and develop Neurodiverse teams, fostering innovation, creativity and growth, and directly impacting business performance while enhancing wellbeing and retention.

Who is this relevant for?

Neurodiversity is important at every level of your organisation. This session is relevant for anyone wanting to understand more about Neurodiversity in general, including as a line manager and in HR teams.
