About the Subject Matter Expert
Collette is a founder, facilitator, coach, non-exec director, speaker and writer. She’s a very vocal expert on equity and anti-racism, especially when it comes to brand and marketing!
She runs multi award-winning brand and strategy consultancy, Brand By Me, which helps organisations build brands that drive social justice. Collette has worked with, on and for a breadth of amazing brands for well over 20 years. She started her career at global advertising agencies before moving brand-side – and her career has spanned household names to amazing charities, including Starburst, Clearasil, McDonald’s, T-Mobile, EE and Barnardo’s children’s charity.
It was Collette’s passion for social justice, love of brands and frustration with traditional agency business models that led her to set up Brand by Me, in 2016.
Today Brand by Me is in high demand for their anti-racist brand consultancy and training with clients such as Wellcome Trust, Amnesty International, Co-op Foundation and Santander.
Collette wears many hats but it’s her single minded focus on social justice that has been the golden thread that fuels her purpose and keeps her motivated.
