Thinking skills have always been important to the way professionals, teams and organisations succeed. Your ability to think critically, strategically and creatively shape how you spot opportunities, solve complex problems and make tough choices. However, the game has changed. The pace of change and innovation characterising the current landscape of work make the need to think your best even more important, because new opportunities and novel challenges call for different ways of thinking.
In this masterclass with the philosopher and Founder of Philosophy at Work, Dr. Brennan Jacoby, you’ll learn techniques you can use to extend your thinking practice and solve problems and think more critically throughout all you do.
What we’ll cover:
- A deeper and nuanced understanding of core thinking skills.
- A framework for thinking critically in the context of AI.
- Small steps you can take to extend your creative and strategic thinking.
Why is it important for people to learn this skill?
If you think better, you do better. Thinking has always mattered, but in the context of AI, the need for humans to think for themselves is increasingly important. If AI is making access to information and basic thinking accessible to all, then how you think differently can set you and your company apart in a market that’s crowded with AI thinking.
Who is this relevant for?
Everyone can benefit from focusing on their thinking, but the exercises in this session will be pitched at middle to senior professionals.
