Frailty
In recent times ‘frailty’ has come to replace ‘aging’ as a catch-all description of older people or a means of excluding people from certain activities or roles. Dr Zoe Wyrko explains that ‘frailty’ is a medical diagnosis and currently only affects 1 in 3 people over the age of 85 – she will explain how frailty impacts people and how they operate and how they recover from mishaps or accidents.
