Sarah Stein Lubrano
Dr Sarah Stein Lubrano is a researcher, writer, and public thinker specialising in how people form and change their political beliefs. Drawing on psychology, neuroscience, and social science, she helps individuals and organisations understand why rational argument so rarely shifts minds, and what actually works instead.
Her Oxford PhD and Cambridge postgraduate training give her a rigorous academic foundation, while her years at The School of Life, where she served as Head of Content, honed her ability to make complex ideas genuinely accessible. She has taught in prisons, written for general audiences, and regularly appears on public radio and podcasts, making her as comfortable in a training room as in a lecture hall.
Sarah is the author of Don't Talk About Politics: How to Change 21st-Century Minds (Bloomsbury), described as "eye-opening and necessary". Her work through the Sense and Solidarity Initiative and the Future Narratives Lab puts her thinking directly in service of real-world change.
