

Dr Susan Khan
Susan Kahn is a business psychologist, speaker, and academic. A Chartered Psychologist, Coaching Psychologist, and Supervisor with the British Psychological Society, she is also a Fellow of the Association of Business Psychologists. Susan works as an executive coach, consultant, mediator, and keen observer of working life, with a particular interest in workplace behaviour and the underlying dynamics within organisations.
She studied organisational consultancy using psychoanalytic methods at the Tavistock Institute and completed her PhD at Birkbeck, University of London, where she teaches coaching psychology and established the Master’s programme in Coaching Psychology. Additionally, she works as a group relations consultant and uses psychoanalytic observation as a research method.
Susan has written extensively on topics such as endings, explored in Death & the City, and resilience, covered in Bounce Back. Her latest book focuses on reinvention.
She is a board member of This Can Happen, an organisation empowering workplace mental health, and a member of ISPSO and OPUS.
