Moving From Presenter To Facilitator
Being a great facilitator requires different skills and approaches to being a great presenter. In ‘presenter’ mode we’re looking to ‘tell’, to inform, to demonstrate, to explain - in ‘facilitator’ mode we’re focussed more on how we can create the optimal environment for learning, creativity and collaboration to take place. We want to understand the experience of the participants, what they think, their opinions, their questions. In this video discover how you can shift from presenter to facilitator by moving away from ‘telling’ mode and explore how you can use Socratic questions to shift the focus onto your participants and build an awareness of their understanding and experience of the subject in hand.
